Research Updates 
 

Philippine Challenge has undertaken field research in nearly 50 provinces since 2007 in an effort to gauge the current state of church planting in the country. The initial intention is to do field research in at least two provinces in each Region of the country. So far most field research has been done in Luzon and the Visayas and the goal of updating data in two provinces per Region is nearly complete. Plans are underway for similar field research in the Visayas and Mindanao.

We are pleased to be able to provide for downloading new summary information for a number of the updated provinces. Downloads include: 

 

  • A summary table of the province, noting the number of churches, the percentage of the evangelical/full gospel, unchurched barangay information, and the latest growth rate in the number of new churches.

  • A complete listing of barangays in the province arranged to highlight priority barangays for future church planting projects.

  • One or more strategic information maps that graphically display important church growth data.

 

These downloads are designed to aid your church or group in seeking the Lord's guidance for future church planting ministry and to mobilize others for that ministry.
